Endpoint:
relative density
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
Qualifier:
no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Sample substabce was melted and cast into a solid block, whose dimensions could be accurately measured. The mass of the block is measured and the relative density calculated. Approximately 30 g of sample was used for each test.

GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
other: Casting substance into a regular cylindrical block

Test 1: Density  of solid sample at 20°C = 0.979 g cm-3

Test 2: Density  of solid sample at 20°C = 0.982 g cm-3

Test 3:       Density  of solid sample at 20°C = 0.980 g cm-3

Average density of solid sample at 20°C = 0.980 g cm-3

Test 1:       Bulk density of granular sample = 0.624 g cm-3

Test 2:       Bulk density of granular sample = 0.625 g cm-3

Test 3:       Bulk density of granular sample = 0.624 g cm-3

Average bulk density of granular sample at 20°C = 0.624 g cm-3

Conclusions:
The relative density study was performed by casting substance into a regular cylindrical block and it was reported as 0.979 g cm-3 at 20°C. The bulk density of granular sample was performed with a pyknometer device and it was reported as 0.624 g cm-3at 20°C
