short-term toxicity to fish
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
13.12.2002 – 18.07.2003
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
study well documented, meets generally accepted scientific principles, acceptable for assessment

Principles of method if other than guideline:
- Principle of test:A sample of the tested substance was dissolved in the dilution water at a concentration of 0.1 g/L. A sample during the test formed a fine precipitate that gradually settled at the bottom. The total volume for one dilution is 1000 ml in preliminary test and 4000 ml in limit test.- Short description of test conditions:The dilution water should have a pH of 7.8 and is saturated with oxygen at a temperature 20 – 24°C.Test duration 96 hours, the temperature of the solutions 21.0 ± 1.0 °C.- Parameters analysed / observed: mortality at 48 and 96 h
GLP compliance:
no
Analytical monitoring:
no
