According to the additional classification considerations in CLP Annex I, 2.7.4.2, the classification procedure for flammable solids need not be applied in cases where the substance is commonly known to be not flammable (i.e. stable salts or metal oxides). Moreover, experience in manufacture or handling and use (i.e. medication (human and animals), Dietary supplement and food additive) shows that flammability hazard can be excluded. - Endpoint:

- the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is known to be soluble in water to form a stable mixture

As the water solubility of the test item has been determinated at 20°C, according to OECD 105 (flask method), the substance does not react with water.
