- Details on results:
- The preliminary visual experiments showed that the water solubility of the test substance is between ca. 100 and 200 g/L. Therefore, the water solubility was determined by the flask-method.
- Conclusions:
- Under the study conditions, the water solubility (corrected for purity) was found to be 108 g/L active ingredient at 20°C. Hence, the test substance is very soluble in water.
- Executive summary:
A study was conducted to determine the water solubility of the test substance according to EU Method A.6 and OECD Guideline 105 in compliance with GLP.
The water solubility was determined by the flask method and the concentration by HPLC.
Under the study conditions, the water solubility (corrected for purity) was found to be 108,000 mg/L at 20°C based on active ingredient. Hence, the test substance is very soluble in water.
