Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Partition coefficient:
4.43
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Low concentration (3.66E-02 mM)
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
4.39
Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: High concentration (3.66E-01 mM)
Details on results:
These values represent the mean of three values obtained for each concentration. The test substance was shown to preferentially remain in the n-octanol phase, with little partitioning into the aqueous phase. Based solely on these relatively high Kow values, i.e., greater than 104, the test substance would be expected to sorb to organic material in soil and sediment, in spite of the high Kow values, comparison with the properties of a closely related compound indicates a low potential for bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms.
Conclusions:
The n-octanol/water partition coeftacient of the test substance is 4.4 (log Pow).

Description of key information

The n-octanol/water partition coeftacient of the test substance is 4.4 (log Pow).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
4.4
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The n-octanol/water partition coeftacient of the test substance is 4.4 (log Pow) at 25℃ (Fackler, 1991).
