Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours or decomposition products. Consult a physician for severe cases.
Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Consult a physician for severe cases.
Eye contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Consult a physician if necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Foam. Dry powder.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: None.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: During a fire, smoke may contain the original material in addition to unidentified toxic and/or irritating compounds.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters: The product is not flammable. Standard procedure for chemical fires. In the event of fire, wear self contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective suit.
Specific methods: No special measures required.
Accidental release measures
^Advice for non-emergency personnel: Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not breathe vapours/dust. Remove all sources of ignition.
Advice for emergency responders: Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing dust. Remove all sources of ignition. Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up mechanically and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Practice care and caution to avoid skin contact and inhalation of vapours or mists if generated. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Eyewash bottle with clean water.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Specific end use(s): No information available.

Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No hazards to be specially mentioned.
Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: No hazards to be specially mentioned.
Conditions to avoid: Exposure to sunlight.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents. Strong bases. Metals. Alcohols.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide. Oxides of phosphorus.
Disposal considerations
Waste from residues / unused products: According to the European Waste Catalogue, Waste Codes are not product specific, but application specific.
Waste codes should be assigned by the user based on the application for which the product was used. Can be landfilled or incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations.
Contaminated packaging: Dispose of as unused product.
