Biodegrdation in water: screening test

The test item was assessed for ready biodegradability in a 28-DayDOCDie-Away Test according to OECD Guideline 301 A (1992). Based on the results obtained from testing the substance was considered to be ready biodegradable. In a supporting study the inherent biodegradability of the test item was assessed according to OECD Guideline 302 B. Based on the results obtained from testing the substance was considered to be inherently biodegradable. In conclusion, the substance can be considered ready biodegradable as indicated in the key study.

 

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation test

According to REACH Annex IX colums 2 the biodegradation in water and sediment does not need to be assessed as the substance is readily biodegradable.

 

Biodegradation in soil

According to REACH Annex IX colums 2 the biodegradation in soil does not need to be assessed as the substance is readily biodegradable.
