Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Short-term toxicity to fish

In a static mortality test, young Zebrafish were exposed to the test item for 96 hours according to OECD 203 (1992). The 96 -hour LC50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L and the 96 -hour NOEC to be 100 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In a static immobilization test, young Daphnia magna (< 24 h old) were exposed to the test item for 48 hours according to OECD 202 (2004). The 48 h EC50 was determined to be 8.3 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be 1.6 mg/L (all calculations were based on the nominal concentrations).

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

In a static growth inhibition test, exponentially-growing cultures of unicellular green algal species Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata (formerly known as Selenastrum capricornutum) were exposed to the test item for 72 hours according to OECD 201 (2011). The 72-h EC50 based on the growth rate was determined to be 11.1 mg/L, the 72-h EC10 based on the growth inhibition was determined to be 1.8 mg/L and the NOEC was determined to be < 0.5 mg/L (all calculations were based on the nominal concentrations).

Toxicity to microorganisms

The influence of the test item on the activity of the activated sludge was estimated after 3 -hour test performed according to OECD 209 (2010). The EC50 value of test item was determined as 732.6 mg/L (95% confidence limits: 517.8 – 1036.6 mg/L). Based on the statistical and biological evaluation in this test the NOEC was determined as 25.6 mg/L.
