Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove casualty into fresh air. Immediatly call a physician.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Immediately call a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with plenty of water and soap.
Immediately call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Immediately
call a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide/carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides,
sulfur oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In case of fire use self contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with spilled product or contaminated surfaces.
Wear personal protective equipment (see section "Handling").
Unprotected persons must be kept away.
Sweep or vacuum up spillage and collect it in suitable waste
containers which must be tightly closed and labelled
according to TRGS 201.
Dispose of according to local regulations.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer systems.
Handling and storage
Handling: Working procedures must always be designed so that contact
with the skin and eyes is excluded. Avoid inhalation of the
substance.
As far as possible, closed equipment has to be used during
transfer and metered feeding as well as during sampling.
In the case of handling the substance in open systems,
extract any vapours or aerosols which might form directly
at the point of origin.
If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not
possible or are insufficient, suitable respiratory
protection (e.g. filter apparatus, Filter ABEK-P2) must be
worn.
Even if skin contact is only possible for short periods,
tested protective gloves (e.g. made of nitrile rubber) and
suitable protective clothing must be worn.
Safe eye protection (e.g. tight-fitting safety goggles) is
absolutely essential.
Adequate washing facilities and conspicuously labelled
eye-douche stations should be provided in the immediate
vicinity of the working area. After contact with the skin,
the affected parts of the body should be immediately
thoroughly cleaned using soap and plenty of water.
Contaminated clothing must be changed immediately. Special
skin-protection and skin-care measures are recommended.
A skin-protection plan must be drawn up.
If vapours or aerosols can develop, due to the potential
explosion risk, potential sources of ignition should be
removed out of the working area. In addition, measures
should be taken to prevent electrostatic discharges.
Storage: Apply the VCI concept for the Mixed Storage of Chemicals.
Store in the original container in a dry, cool and venti-
lated place. Do not store in heat or sunlight.
Keep containers tightly closed and secure them against
falling by taking the appropriate measures.
Avoid residues on the outside of the containers.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Drums, 200 kg.
