Description of key information

The substance is non flammable upon ignition.
The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases in contact with water.
The substance is not a self-heating substance or mixture.

The preliminary burning rate test was negative. Local burning followed by rapid extinction was observed. The main test was omitted due to result of preliminary test.

The substance or mixture does not to be classified as self-heating as the substance is a solid with a melting point less than 160 °C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the classification and labeling criteria of GHS and 67/548/EEC a solid with a burning time < 45 seconds or a burning rate > 2.2 mm/s shall be classified as flammable solid. The substance is a non flammable solid.
