Other effects:
100% test substance for 4 hours: no skin irritation to the skin of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.
80% test substance in oil for 24 hours: no skin irritation to the skin of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.
20% test substance in methylenchlorid (20 repetitions (no information about duration of each treatment given)): slight temporary reddening of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

In a skin irritation test in one rabbit ear the test substance was applied in different concentrations and in different vehicles for different durations: 4 hours (100% test substance; 24 hours (80% test substance in oil); 20% test substance in Methylenchlorid in 20 repetitions (no information about duration of the 20 repetitions given).

The results were following:

100% test substance for 4 hours: no skin irritation to the skin of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.

80% test substance in oil for 24 hours: no skin irritation to the skin of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.

20% test substance in methylenchlorid (20 repetitions (no information about duration of each treatment given)): slight temporary reddening of the inner part of the rabbit ear was observed.
