Additional information

In a 96-h acute toxicity study of the test item to zebra-fish (Brachydanio rerio) under static conditions the LC50 was estimated to be higher than 100 mg/L.

The 48-hr EC50 of the test item to Daphnia magna under static conditions was determined to be > 100 mg/L. The 48-hr NOEC was determined to be >= 100 mg/L.

In a 72 hour acute toxicity study of the test item to cultures of Scenedesmus subspicatus the NOEbC and EbC50 values based on biomass were both above 100 mg/L.

In a 3-hr acute toxicity study to sewage sludge micro-organisms the IC50 value based on respiration rate was >100 mg/L after a 3 h contact time.

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms.

The inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when introduced in appropriate low concentrations.
