Description of key information

The decomposition temperature of ammonium perrhenate has been determined to be 313-314°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The Gajerski (2008) study is non-GLP but the method has been evaluated to be appropriate and therefore has been assessed to be suitable for use as a key study for this endpoint.

The CRC Handbook (Lide, 2008) is a reliable peer reviewed handbook and so can be considered reliable and suitable for use as a supporting study for this endpoint. This identified the decomposition temperature of ammonium perrhenate to be 365 °C.
