Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure. Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water. If symptoms develop, obtain medical attention.

Eye contact: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.

Ingestion: Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical advice immediately and show the container, label or this Data Sheet, if possible.

Self-protection of the first aider: Protect yourself and any casualty from further exposure. It is important that anyone attempting the rescue of an affected person should wear the appropriate respiratory protection and protective clothing.

Fire-fighting measures

Special hazards arising from the substance: The material may form flammable dust clouds in air. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. If involved in a fire, it may emit noxious and toxic fumes.
Advice for fire-fighters: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing should be worn in fire conditions.
Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
For non-emergency personnel: Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be alerted to the appropriate regulatory body.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
For cleaning up: Protect against dust. Clear up spillages. Avoid dust generation. Transfer to a container for disposal. Wash the spillage area clean. Washings must be prevented from entering surface water drains.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Control dust formation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of dust.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion: Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from oxidising agents.

Components with environmental control parameters (e.g. PNECs): None assigned

Exposure controls
Engineering measures: None specifically required.

Personal protection equipment
Eye / face protection: Wear eye/face protection.
Skin protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves. Check protective gloves prior to each use for their proper condition. The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
