Additional information

The substance is of low ready biodegradability on the basis of two screening tests in water and is potentially persistent within the environment. Further studies on an analogue also indicated that the substance does appear to biodegrade, although not within the 10 days specified by the guidelines. Effects in sediment are proposed to be equivalent, although have not been investigated as part of this registration. It should be noted that the substance hydrolyses slowly under environmentally relevant conditions of use, resulting in any available substance slowly being eliminated.
