The hazard to soil organisms was evaluated on the basis of short-term toxicity to the soil invertebrateEisenia fetida(earthworm); the 14-day LC50in the earthworm was estimated to be higher than 1000 mg/kg soil dry weight. 

In accordance with Section 9.4 Annex IX of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, these studies do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely.

The hazard to soil organisms was evaluated on the basis of short-term toxicity to the soil invertebrate Eisenia fetida (earthworm). As there are no direct outputs to soil from the manufacture, formulation and industrial of this substance, exposure of the soil is not anticipated during normal use of this substance. Therefore a PNECsoil is not indicated.
