Any other information on results incl. tables

Irritation: iinstillation of approximately 88mg (a volume of approximately 0.1ml) into on e eye of each of three rabbits resulted in irriation of the conjunctivae, which was seen as redness, chemosis and discharge. The irritation had completely resolved within 24 hours in 2 animals and within 48 hours in 1 animal. No irridial irriation or corneal opacity was observed, and treatmen of the eyes with 2% fluorescein, 24 hours after test subtance instillation revealed no corneal epithelial damage in any of the animals.

Corrosion: there was no evidence of ocular corrosion.

Colouration/remnants: remnants of the test substance were present in the eyes of all animals on day 1.

Toxicity/Mortality: no symptoms of systemic toxicity were observed in the animals during the test period and no mortality occurred.
