Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Not relevant
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of running
water, if necessary see an oculist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse with running water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: After ingestion rinse out mouth, drink 1 to 2 glasses of
water.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, extinguishing powder, Carbon dioxide
Product arising from burning: Ammonia, Sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up with suitable device, preferably with an industrial
vacuum cleaner of approved type (if not available use wet
wipe) and ensure disposal in sealable containers.
Clean contaminated objects and floor in accordance with
environmental protection regulations thoroughly with water
and surfactants.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes as well as inhalation of
the substance.
While taking up the spillage and cleaning the polluted area
wear the necessary personal protective equipment (see
"handling").
Avoid formation of dust. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
Label the container with the spilled substance in
accordance with the local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Take precautions being standard for chemical industry.
Keep containers tightly closed. Avoid the formation of dust.
Ensure good room ventilation, if necessary local exhaust
ventilation.
Working procedures must be designed so that exposure by
dermal contact and by inhalation is minimized.
During filling, metered feeding and sampling use closed or
at least dustproof devices.
In the case of handling the substance in open systems,
exhaust any dust which forms directly at the point of
origin. The exhausted air may only be returned to the
working area after sufficient cleaning using approved
equipment.
In case that technical ventilation or exhaustion measures
are not possible or insufficient wear respiration protection
(e.g. dust mask with filter P2).
Tested protective gloves (natural rubber) and suitable
protective clothing should be worn to avoid contact with
the skin.
Adequate washing facilities should be available in the
immediate vicinity of the working area. After contact with
the skin, the affected parts of the body should be
thoroughly cleaned using water and soap. Special
skin-protection and skin-care measures are recommended.
Draw up a skin-protection plan.
Outdoor clothes should be kept separate from working
clothes.
If dust can develop, due to the potential dust explosion
risk, potential ignition sources should be removed from the
work area. In addition, measures should be taken against
static discharges.
Storage: Store in closed unbreakable containers only, which are
labelled according to the regulations and protected
against falling.
Avoid residues of the substance on the outside of the
containers. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Folded cardboard box with 2 plastic bottles
