First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If rapid recovery does not occur, seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water. If irritation occurs, seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with water, use
soap if available. The substance is very soluble in fat.
Cooking oils like butter or olive oil may be useful in
cleaning contaminated skin.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Give nothing by mouth, seek medical
attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Recommended extinguishing agents: For small fires, use dry
chemical powder, carbon dioxide, foam, waterspray, sand or
earth. For large fires, use foam or water fog/spray. Do not
use water in a jet. Keep drums cool by spraying with water.

be carbon oxides.

Protective equipment: Protective equipment: Wear a self-contained breathing
apparatus for large fires or fires in confined spaces.

Handling: Use in a well ventilated area, local exhaust ventilation
may be required. If inhalation of vapours may occur, wear a
half-mask respirator with organic vapour cartridge and
built in particulate filter (NPF 20, gas only). Wear eye
(goggles), body (PVC apron), hand (gauntlet type gloves,
nitrile rubber), and foot (chemical resistant wellington
type safety boots without laces) protection.
