Administrative data
First-aid measures
difficult, give oxygen. If signs of toxicity occur seek
immediately medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immedately with water
Seek medical advice
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash effected areas with water
for at least 15 minutes. If signs of irritations persists
seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give large amounts to drink; seek medical advice or the
advice of a poison information center.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, oxides
of sulphur
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothes and self-contained respirator.
Fire exposed containers should be cooled with a water spray.
Accidental release measures
and gloves should be worn when cleaning a spill. A
disposable suit and self-contained breathing apparatus
should be worn when cleaning large spills. Sweep material
onto paper. Place in a fibre drum. The spill area should be
ventilated and decontaminated after the material has been
cleaned. The material should be disposed of in accordance
with national regulations.
Handling and storage
chemical safety goggles should be worn. Inhalation of dust
should also be avoided so a NIOSH approved and properly
fitted dust/mist respirator should be worn. Hands and face
should be thoroughly washed after handling of the substance.
Storage: Store in sealed unbreakable containers in a cool, dry place.
The substance should be protected from heat, moisture and
air.
