Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Environmental fate and pathways:

For evaluating the biodegradation of the registered substance a weight of evidence with available data on the major constituant is available. All major constituents of the registered substance are readily biodegradable. Therefore, the registered substance can be considered as a readily biodegradable mixture.

The partition coefficients (LogKow) of the test item, based on the three major known constituent, is estimated to be in the range between 2.98 and 4.57. The log Kow of the substance is potentially as greater than 4 as worst-case.

Aquatic toxicity :

Two QSAR predictions are available to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance.

QSAR predictions for these endpoints were performed using the iSafeRat® calculation method for mixtures testes according to the Water Accomodated Fraction (WAF) approach (KREATIS, 2022). Toxic effects were predicted on aquatic invertebrates and algae in acute conditions. For algae, the 72h-ErL50 value was predicted at 31 mg/L and 3.5 mg/L for the NOECr. For daphnid, the 48h-EL50 value was predicted at 14 mg/L.

Conclusion on classification

No harmonised classification is available on the registered substance.

Data available:
- Lowest E(L)C50 value > 1 mg/L (between 10 and 100 mg/L);
- Algae Chronic value > 1 mg/L
- Readily biodegradable

- Log kow value greater than 4.0: Based on QSAR predictions, the partition coefficients of the constituents of the substance (3 components of the substance covering more than 83% of the composition) were estimated in the range between 2.98 and 4.57 at 25°C (valid QSAR estimations). The log Kow of the substance is potentially as greater than 4 as worst-case.

Classification according to the Annex VI of the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP):
The registered substance is classified aquatic chronic category 3
