Emergency measure - Inhalation: Provide fresh air. If any symptoms persist, call a
physician.

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions:

Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear personal protective
equipment. Remove all sources of ignition, do not smoke.


Environmental precautions:

Do not flush into surface waters or sanitary sewer systems.
Avoid subsoil penetration. If the products contaminates
rivers, lakes or drains, inform the respective authorities.


Methods for cleaning up:

Never allow contact with water. Cover spilled material with
limestone powder. Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect
in suitable container for disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that
inhalation of the substance as well as skin and eye contact
are excluded. The substance should only be handled (in
particular filling, transfer, metered feeding and sampling)
in dry, inert protective gas.

Never allow water to come into contact with the product.

The access of air and/or moistured should definitely be
avoided at all stages of the work. In the case of handling
in open systems, any vapor that can form must be extracted
directly at the point of origin. In those cases in which
inhalation of the substance is possible in spite of the
technical protective measures that have been taken (above
all, closed system, extraction or good ventilation)
respiratory protection should be worn (e.g. :::). Even if
only short-term skin contact is possible, tested antistatic
and flameproof finished gloves (s. below) and suitable
antistic and flameproof protective clothing (e.g. s. below)
must be worn. Safe eye protection (e.g. goggles, if
applicable, with the additional use of a protective face
screen), is absolutely essential. Dry powder showers should
be installed in the immediate vicinity of the work area,
sufficient washing facilities should be available and eye
douches should be made available and their location
conspicuously labelled. After skin contact, the affected
parts of the skin shoud be cleaned thoroughly using (:::).
Contaminated clothing must be changed immediately. Special
skin-protection and skin-care measures are recommended. A
skin-protection plan must be drawn up.


Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Electrical equipment should be protected with the
appropriate standard.


Protect hands by flame resistant gloves.

Protect skin and body by flame retardant protective
clothing.


Keep away from ignition sources. Do not smoke.


Hygiene measures:

Avoid any contact with skin and eyes. Keep away from food,
drink, and animal feedingstuff. When handling the product,
do not eat, drink, or smoke. Wash hands before breaks and at
the end of the workday.

Storage: Keep containers tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated
place. Protect from direct sunlight.


Store at 20 - 50 °C. Product crystallises at temperatures
below T < 30 °C (reversible). Dissolution possible when
stirring at temperatures between T = 30 - 50 °C. Handle only
after complete dissolution of the precipitate.
