Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention if
breathing difficulties occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately wash out with plenty of water. Get medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with plenty of
water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Drink plenty of water. Get
medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: No special precautions.
Product arising from burning: Based on the chemical structure and depending on the
circumstances NOx and COx.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should use protective clothing, including face
mask and self-containing breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: In case of accidental spillage the substance or preparation
should be absorbed with an inert absorbance. Contaminated
product and material used in cleaning up spillage or leaks
can be disposed of by combustion in an incinerator for
chemical waste according to national and local regulations.
While cleaning suitable protective clothing should be worn,
including face protection, rubber gloves and apron.
Handling and storage
Handling: Will be produced and used in closed systems so no specific
recommendations. At the workplace good occupational hygiene
by all workers should suffice. Avoid any contact with eye
and skin and wear appropriate protective clothing, including
gloves, apron and safety goggles.
Storage: Good occupational hygiene of person and workplace. In other
cases no special precautions.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Product will be transported as a 15% aqueous solution in
stainless steel tanktainers; volume 24 m3.
