Executive summary:

The test substance was a liquid at room temperature, therefore the melting point was determined by visual observation.


Two samples were placed at 4°C and -20°C. After one day, both samples were still
observed to be liquid. The samples were then placed at -80°C and when removed, they appeared to be frozen. The temperature of one sample was taken until it appeared to begin melting at -43.9°C.
