Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If respiratory symptoms appear seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with copious quantities of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry chemical or carbon dioxide
Product arising from burning: In a fire, L-654, 969 will form nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide and smoke. Dry powder may form explosive mixtures
with air.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and fully protective garments should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Substance may be scooped back into containers whilst wearing protective equipment (refer to section 2.3.1)
Flush area with water to remove residue.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with eyes. Minimise exposure by use of standard occupational hygiene procedures. A full-face, positive pressure airline mask, or chemical goggles in conjunction with an air-supplied respirator should be worn, along with latex gloves.
Storage: Store in a polypropylene liner in fiber drums in a refridgerated (4°C), well ventilated area.
Containers should be closed to protect the substance from excessive moisture.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Both contaminated and uncontaminated material should be destroyed.
Ref. 6.1.0.3.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None. In situ destruction is not recommended. Material should be sent for destruction in accordance with 6.1.0.3.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Discharge to the environment is not recommended without
prior treatment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Substance may be incinerated in accordance with regulations on hazardous substances.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance can be destroyed by controlledrate addition to an industrial waste water treatment system.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance as notified will remain entirely within industry.
