Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The values of the EC20, EC50 and EC80 for 6,8-Dichloroethylcaprylat are >300mg/l.
- Executive summary:
The test substance did not inhibit the respiration in an activated sludge. The two highest tested concentrainns, 300 and 150 mg/l even enhanced the respiration.
The EC20, EC50 and EC80 values for 6,8-Dichloroethylcaprylate are therefore greater than 300 mg/l
No 95% confidence limits can be calculated.
The pH of the incubation mixture after the 3 hours incubation was between 8.0 and 8.2.
