Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. In case of indisposition seek medical advice.
Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice.
Skin: Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment. In case of indisposition seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide.
Combustion products: carbon, nitrogen and sulfur oxides.
Special protective equipment: in the event of fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and clothing protective against chemicals
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: avoid inhalation and ingestion, wear eye protection and protective gloves.
Environmental precautions: do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Methods for cleaning-up or taking-up: contain with suitable absorbent material. Scoop into marked containers for disposal as chemical waste. Flush small residues away with water.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Avoid ingestion, inhalation, skin and eye contact. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene practice and any legal requirements.
Keep container tightly closed. Handle and open container with care. Close containers immediately after use. Avoid vapor formation and ignition sources. Ensure good local exhaust ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke at the workplace.
Storage requirements:
Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry area with adequate ventilation.

Exposure controls / personal protection
During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance Art. 18. Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.
Hygiene measures:
Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages.
Wash hands before breaks and after work.
Clean skin thoroughly after work; apply skin cream.
Respiratory protection:
Wear respiratory protection if ventilation is inadequate.
Hand protection:
Suitable protective gloves
Eye protection:
Safety glasses
Body protection:
Protective clothing. Closed footwear
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stable at room temperature in closed containers under normal storage and handling conditions
Materials to avoid: Strong oxidants.
Hazardous decomposition products: When handled and stored appropriately, no dangerous decomposition products are known.
Disposal considerations
Product:
Product should be be taken to a suitable and authorized waste disposal site in accordance with relevant regulations and if necessary after consultation with the waste disposal operator and/or the competent Authorities
Uncleaned packaging:
Packaging that cannot be subjected to waste management schemes (recovery recycling, reuse) according to local legislation.
