Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and keep patient at rest. Seek medical
attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water while holding eyelids open for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention immediately.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush area with large amounts
of water. Use soap. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash
out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting unless directed
by medical personnel. Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: carbon dioxide, dry chemical, water spray
Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain CO, CO2 and water
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: All spills should be handled in accordance with site
requirements. Collect spilled material by a method that
controls dust generation. A damp cloth or a filtered vacuum
should be used to clean spills of dry solids. Clean spill
area thoroughly.
Handling and storage
Handling: Eliminate possible ignition sources (e.g., heat, sparks,
flame, impact, friction, electricity), and follow
appropriate grounding and bonding procedures. Avoid contact
with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Minimize
dust generation and accumulation. Use with adequate
ventilation.
Storage: Store at room temperature in properly labeled containers.
Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 41 GAS Foil-lined drum poly bag gusseted (clear)
This is shipped on a plastic or heat treated pallet and it
is baded and shrink wrapped to the pallet.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: none known
Chemical reaction with water: not to be expected.
Dust explosion: Explosive mixtures with dust possible but not expected if
handled under good industrial hygiene practices.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The test item is designed for use in virtually closed
systems as an intermediate in the synthesis of an active
pharmaceutical ingredient. Therefore it is expected that it
will be consumed in the processes where it is employed.
Hence the need for recovery / recycling of the substance
does not apply in this case.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Apply corresponding national and international rules.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is the preferred method of disposal.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: none.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: none.
