Preliminary test

No significant weight loss was observed. At 550°C the sample weight was similar to the start of the test. After the experiment, the test substance was unchanged i.e. no decomposition and/or evaporation was observed.

Main study

No effects related to melting of the test substance were observed. After the experiment, the test substance was unchanged.

Conclusions:
The melting temperature of the substance was determined using DSC in accordance with OECD 102 (1995), EU Method A.1 (2008) and according to GLP principles. As melting of the substance was not observed at temperatures of < 400°C (< 673K), the substance has no melting temperature (up to 400°C).
