First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. In case of eye contact, remove contact lens. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash skin with soap and water. If molten material contacts the skin, cool immediately with cold water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Call a physician or Poison Control Center and follow the instructions.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical. Dry sand. Foam.

Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: High volume water jet.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: May produce gases of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide if burning.

Advice for firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective gear. Keep personnel removed from and upwind of fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Use personal protective equipment. Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate the area.

Environmental precautions:

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
