- Justification:
A detailed analysis of the Persistence, Bioaccumulation and Toxicity has been brought together into a clear conclusion on whether Isophthalic acid, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane and phthalic anhydride is not a PBT/vPvB substance. Isophthalic acid, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane and phthalic anhydride is readily biodegradable under the conditions of the study and does not meet the P Criteria.. The Kow results show that Isophthalic acid, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane and phthalic anhydride is not B. The toxicity studies value is greater than the 0.01 mg/L and does not meet the T criteria. The data show that the properties of the substance do not meet the specific criteria detailed in Annex XIII and, consequently, that the substance is not considered a PBT/vPvB.
