First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Inhalation can produce adverse effects in several organs.

Seek immediate medical attention. Treat symptomatically.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash eyes with plenty water for ten minutes, keeping eyelids

open to ensure adequate washing. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with plenty of soapy water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, powder may be used. Do not use high

pressure water jet.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen and some soot.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Clean up spillages by either vacuum or manual sweeping. Keep

dust production to a minimum. Remove or isolate the

possibility of static discharge. Transfer to labelled

containers and dispose of in accordance with local

regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: Dust masks conforming FFP3SC standard CE0086. This may be

reduced following personal monitoring.

PVC gauntlets conforming to CE94 standard together with

natural cloth overalls and safety shoes should be worn.

Storage: Store in antistatic tightly closed containers in cool, dry

conditions away from direct sunlight.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance will be stored in antistatic containers which

may be either keg or carton.  Most of the substance will be

used internally by the manufacturer in the formulation of

liquid stabilisers.  Stabilisers will be packaged in 200 kg
