Table 1 Lowest Values main test

Experiment  Value  Ignition delay  Drops used
 First test series 532 °C   45 s
 Second test series  525 °C  53 s  1
 Third test series  527 °C  68 s  1

The lowest value of the auto ignition temperature is 525 °C. This value was determined using 1 drop test item. The test item showed auto ignition after 53 seconds. The three lowest values of the main test lay within a range of 20 K (as required for auto ignition temperatures above 300 °C). The largest difference between measured ignition temperatures was 7 K.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 525 °C at 1013.25 hPa.
Executive summary:

Auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined in three test series according to EU method A.15 and DIN 51794. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest value from the lowest values of the three experiments, rounded down to a whole multiple of 5 °C. The three lowest values of the main study lay within a range of 20 K as required for auto-ignition temperatures above 300 °C. Thus, the validity criterion which is demanded in the DIN standard was fulfilled. Auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 525 °C at 1013.25 hPa.

Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 525 °C at 1013.25 hPa.
