First-aid measures
- General advice:
- Following inhalation:
If breathed in, move person to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Following skin contact:In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Following eye contact:
IIn case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
- Following ingestion:
If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately.
- Most important symptoms and effects: None known
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or car-bon dioxide.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
High volume water jet
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as: Carbon oxides
- Advice for fire fighter: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions:
Ensure adequate ventilation.Use personal protective equipment.
- Environmental precautions:
Prevent product from entering drains.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material. Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Persons susceptible to skin sensitisation problems or asthma, allergies, chronic or recurrent respiratory disease should not be employed in any process in which this mixture is being used. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in original container. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place
