- The surface tension of the test material was determined by OECD Test No. 115. It was concluded: The surface tension of a test solution at 90% of the test material saturation solubility in water and at 20°C was 35.0 mN/m. According to this, the test material is considered to be surface active.

- A test material aliquot of 0.10 grams was shaken after the addition of 100 mL of water. The resulting solution contained some solids, was milky, and exhibited surface foaming. The sample was observed after 72 hours at room temperature and exhibited the same characteristics.
DEFINITIVE TEST
- Samples from the flasks were removed after three days mixing. The samples were cloudy and could not be cleared by filtration (0.2 μm) or centrifugation (9000 rpm) or dilution up to 500 times.
- It is concluded that the test material is surface active and has a solubility of less than 1 g/L.
