Results and discussion

Relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Relative self-ignition temperature:
> 400 °C

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test substance showed no relevant exothermic reaction, using a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5 deg C/min. The test substance has a melting range between about 86 deg C - 109 deg C. As the guideline followed only applies to solids, the temperature range between 109 deg C and 400 deg C was not considered relevant for the test substance. At the end of the measurement the test substance was evaporated and the sample cube was empty.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the test substance is not auto-flammable, according to the criteria as described in the guideline.
