Seven (7) valid aquatic studies are available: two (2) 96-hour studies in fish (Pimephales promelas and Gobiocypris rarus); a 28-day fish juvenile growth test usingGobiocypris rarus; a 48 -hour study in Daphnia magna; a 72-hour study in algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata); a 21 day long termDaphnia Magna reproduction study and an activated sludge respiration inhibition test.

Due to the low water solubility of the registration material, nominal concentrations or WAF loading rates were used to set the dose groups in each study.

No adverse or toxic effects were observed in any of the studies with the following results:

Pimephales promelas (LL50 (96h) > 100 mg/L; (OECD 203)

Gobiocypris rarus (LL50 (96h) > 100 mg/L; (OECD 203)

Gobiocypris rarus(OECD 215)

28 d-LOEL >100 mg/L survival, growth and development

28 d-NOEL = 100 mg/L survival, growth and development

Daphnia magna(EC50 48h > 100 mg/L); (OECD 202)

Daphnia magna (Reproduction, OECD 211), 21-day, 72-hour static renewal

LOEC (Reproduction) > 10.0 mg/L

NOEC (Reproduction) =10.0 mg/L

LOEC (Survival) > 10.0 mg/L

NOEC (Survival) = 10.0 mg/L

Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata(OECD 201); no effects on area under the growth curve, growth rate and yield; EC50/LC50 for all endpoints > 100 mg/L after 96 hours of growth

Activated sludge respiration inhibition test (OECD 209), no impact on microbial respiration for a period of 3 hours; EC50 > 1000 mg/L
