Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

The test substance is not a readily combustible solid in the sense of Guideline EEC/79/831 test A.10.

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
The test substance is not a readily combustible solid in the sense of Guideline EEC/79/831 test A.10.

Description of key information

The test substance is not a readily combustible solid in the sense of Guideline EEC/79/831 test A.10.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

The test substance is not a readily combustible solid in the sense of Guideline EEC/79/831 test A.10.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008) powdered, granular or pasty substances or mixtures (except powders of metals or metal alloys — see 2.7.2.2 of the CLP Regulation) shall be classified as readily combustible solids when the time of burning of one or more of the test runs, performed in accordance with the test method described in Part III, sub-section 33.2.1, of the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, is less than 45 seconds or the rate of burning is more than 2.2 mm/s.

The sample burns with difficulty and is not observed flame spreading during flammability tests, the substance can be considered "not flammable" and no classification is warranted under the CLP Regulation.
