Details on results:
- Mortality of control: no mortalities
- The results of the test solution analysis showed an increasing carbon concentration with increasing nominal test concentration and that no significant change in carbon concentration was observed over the 96 h exposure period; the results were taken to demonstrate the stability of the test concentrations employed during the period of exposure.

Additional information

The study with Castor oil, ester with glycerol (CAS 68459-67-6) was performed according to OECD 203 (GLP compliance not specified) under semi-static conditions using the freshwater species Leuciscus idus as test organism. The fish were exposed to nominal concentrations of 0, 100, 180, 320, 560 and 1000 mg/L over a period of 96h.. The highest test concentration resulting in 0% mortality was 100 mg/L. The lowest test concentration resulting in 100% mortality was 180 mg/L. The LC50 (96h) was determined to be 130 mg/L.
