Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
INHALATION: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Allow victim to breathe fresh air. Allow the victim to rest. Get medical attantion.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water. Discard contaminated leather products (shoes). Get medicay attention if symptoms persist.
EYE CONTACT: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persists.
INGESTION: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread the fire.
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire: Toxic fumes may be released.
Firefighting instructions: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering environment.
Protection during firefighting: Wear proper protective equipment; complete protective clothing and respiratory protection (self-contained breathing apparatus).
Accidental release measures
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: Do not release into the environment. Notify authorities of product entering sewers or public waters.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP: Avoid dust or aerosol formation. Place in covered containers using non-sparking tools and transport outdoors. Dispose of in accordance with current laws and regulations. Do not release into the environment.
Handling and storage
STORAGE CONDITIONS: Keep only in original container in a cool, well-ventilated place away from heat sources. Keep container closed when not in use.
INCOMPATIBLE PRODUCTS: Strong bases. Strong acids.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS: Sources of ignition. Direct sunlight.
