Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: If inhaled, move to fresh air. Get medical attention.
Eyes: Any material that contacts the eye should be washed out immediately with water. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Skin: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Destroy or thoroughly clean contaminated shoes.
Ingestion: If swallowed, only induce vomiting as directed by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a
physician or poison control center immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media: water spray, carbon dioxide (C02), dry chemical.
Special Fire-Fighting Procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Fire or excessive heat may produce hazardous
decomposition products.
Hazardous Combustion Products: Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx). (see also Hazardous
Decomposition Products section.)
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Fire or high temperatures may cause decomposition. Dust may form explosive mixture in air.
Accidental release measures
Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Avoid dust formation. Clean surface thoroughly to remove residual contamination.
Handling and storage
Personal precautions: Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Use only with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after
handling.
Prevention of Fire and Explosion: Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Dust may form explosive mixture in air. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Use only with adequate ventilation. Refer to NFPA 654. "Standard for the Prevention of Fire and Dust Explosions from the
Manufacturing, Processing, and Handing of Combustible Particulate Solids." Keep from contact with oxidizing materials.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from incompatible substances (see Incompatibility section )

Exposure controls / personal protection
Occupational exposure controls: Not established
Ventilation: Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to maintain airborne levels to an acceptable level.
Respiratory protection: If engineering controls do not maintain airborne concentrations to an acceptable level, an approved respirator must be worn. Respirator type: NIOSH-approved with an APF (assigned protection factor) of 10 (example: N95 Particulate Filter). If respirators are used, a
program should be instituted to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, commonwealth, provincial. or local laws and regulations.
Eye protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields (or goggles).
Hand protection: Wear impervious gloves and protective clothing appropriate for the risk of exposure.
Recommended Decontamination Facilities: Safety shower, eye wash, washing facilities as appropriate to condition of use.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable under normal conditions. Safe handling temperatures are dependent on specific conditions of use and are typically substantially
below the onset temperature. Consult your technical safety experts.
Exotherm onset temperature. 1810C by ARC.
Incompatibility: Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products: hydrogen chloride. nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Hazardous Polymerization. Hazardous polymerization does not occur.
Disposal considerations
Discharge, treatment, or disposal may be subject to federal, state, commonwealth, provincial, or local laws.
Incinerate. Since emptied containers retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied.
