Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation:
take the subject into the open air and allow to rest. In the event of respiratory failure, practice artificial respiration. If respiration is laboured, administer oxygen. If necessary seek medical advice.
Contact on the skin:
immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash the affected area with soap and plenty of water. Call a doctor if redness and swelling persist.
Contact with eyes:
in the case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Ensure adequate rinsing of the eyes by separating the eyelida with fingers. Call a doctor if redness and swelling persist.
Ingestion:
if swallowed, rinse your mouth with water if victim is conscious. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
nebulised water, carbon dioxide, suitable powder or foam extinguishers.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
hazardous decomposition or combustion products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides. Silver oxides and Silver. No hazardous polymerisations occur.
Advice for firefighters:
wear an independent respirator (in case of close-range intervention) and protective clothing to prevent contanct with the skin and eyes (full facial mask with "Universal" filter).
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
1-prevention of skin and eye contact and personal clothing: wear protective clothing, protective glasses, rubber boots and heavy-duty rubber gloves.
2-provision for sufficient ventilation/respiratory protection: wear an independent respirator. Evacuate the area and aerate the zone contamined by the spilt product after cleaning it away completely.
3-control of dust: avoid forming clouds of dust/powder.
Environmental precautions:
do not allow the product to enter water or the soil. Prevent it from entering the drains or seweres. Use suitable containers for preventing environmental pollution. Alert neighbourhood: not necessary.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
1-use of absorbent material: vermiculite, dry sand, earth.
2-cleaning methods: use suitable personal protection devices. Remove the product with mechanical instruments; recover the product wherever possible, collecting in clean containers for enabling either reuse or elimination. Wash the area surrounding the contaminated area with soap and water after having completely cleaned up the product. Ventilate the premises. Seal and label the containers. Remove the contaminated materials. Do not dispose of the product down the drain. Use suitable containers for preventing environmental pollution. Deliver the containers to personnel authorised to dispose of waste products.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
1-containment, local and general ventilation, measures to prevent aerosol and dust generation and fire: the premises set up for the handling of the product must be fitted out with localised and controlled aeration systems (laminar flow hoods, etc...) capable of confining the dispersion of the active ingredient in the form of air-dispersed powder. Use hoods with interchangeable filters.
2-advice on general occupational hygiene: use suitable personal protection devices including certified respirators, protective safety glasses and compatible gloves resistant againstchemical agents. Wash yourself with care after each handling operation. Never eat, drink or smoke during handling. Safety shower and washing stations for rinsing eyes must be provided.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
1-specific storage requirements to control of the environmental effects: store in a cool, dry, well ventialted area.
2-type of materials used in packing/containers of substance: pack the product in double polythene bags, individually sealed and store in cardboard bins fitted with an aluminum safety locking ring.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye/face protection:
wear protective glasses (EN 166) during the execution of any industrial type of operations. If necessary, wear a protective face shield.
Skin protection:
use work overalls and/or coat, or dustproof overalls in Tyvek with hood for industrial type operations.
Hand protection:
1-type of material and thickness: wear Nitrile or rubber gloves (neoprene). Minimum thickness of gloves: 0.11 mm.
2-type of minimum breakthrough times of the glove material: permeability is not anticipated with dry solid substances and therefore the duration of the protective gloves has not been calculated. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of the EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 364 derived form it.
Respiratory protection:
for nuisance exposures use type P95 (US) or type P1 (EU EN 143) particle respirator. For higher level protection use type OV/AG/P99 (US) or type ABEK-P1 (EU EN 143) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate governement standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Environmental exposure controls:
avoid dispersion in the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability:
stable in storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
no hazardous polymerisations occur.

Disposal considerations

Dissolve or mix the product with a combustible solvent then incinerate in an incinerator for chemical products equipped with a post-combution and destruction system.
