Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The 48–hr-acute toxicity of the test item to Daphnia magna was studied under static conditions. The 48–hr EC50 was determined to be 42.6 mg/L effect concentration based on loading rate. Based on these findings no toxicity were observed within the water solubility limit of the substance.

Additional information

The test substance was tested in the Acute DaphniaToxicity Test according to the OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals No. 202 (April 2004) usingDaphnia magna(Straus) as test organism.

A loading rate-response test was performed at five loading rates of 1.71, 3.76, 8.26, 18.2 and 40 mg/L test item/L on order to comply with the requirements of the guideline. A clear laoding-rate-response relationship was observed. The effect concentrations (immobility of daphnids) are based on the laoding rates: EC50 (48h): 42.6 mg test item/L.

Based on these findings no toxicity were observed within the water solubility of the substance (WS: 8.37 mg/L).
