Description of key information
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted. Potential explosive properties are indicated by the presence of certain reactive groups in the molecule and/or by the oxygen balance. Since Epoxidized Palm Oil is an epoxy substance, the molecular structure shows potential reactivity. However, the oxygen balance of Epoxidized Palm Oil is substantially more negative than -200, where only an oxygen balance higher than -200 indicates the potential presence of explosive properties. Therefore, explosive properties are not expected.

Justification for classification or non-classification
