Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The Koc was calculated to be 51.5 (Log Koc 1.71) using the log Kow of 1.99. Log additional adsorption / desorption values for sediment, suspended matter and soil of 2.58, 5.16 and 1.03 L/kg respectively are reported here as reported in the EU RAR, 2002.

Additional information

The adsorption/desorption study has not been conducted as the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption based on a log Kow value of 1.99 and the values cited in EU RAR indicate that adsorption to soil and sediment is not likely to be important. As the substance is a gas, it will preferentially partition to and rapidly volatilize to the atmosphere.
