- No specific details on test chemicals were reported . Sulphite, thiosulphate and tetrathionate were used in this study. All chemicals were of analytical grade.

- Conclusions:
- No EC50 was reached the highest concentration was found to stimulate growth. No toxicity was therefore present at tested concentrations.
- Executive summary:
Although not conducted to GLP and lacking details of a specific study report the methodology was clearly described. This study may be considered reliable with restrictions and used as supporting evidence that Sodium sulphate has no toxic effect on plants (Spruce Seedlings).
