Partitioning to water is predicted to be limited (0.6% of a theoretical emission of 1,000 kg/hr each to air, water and soil (See environmental fate); and thus neither hydrolysis nor photolysis in water are expected to significant routes of elimination in the environment. Based on its structure, the substance is not expected to undergo hydrolysis, and performance of a hydrolysis study is not technically feasible due to extremely low water solubility (ca. 0.72 ug/L). 

Similarly, partitioning to air to any significant extent is not expected due to the substance’s low vapor pressure and tendency to adsorb to particulates. Binding to particulates will likely shield the molecule from light. Thus, photransformation in air will not be significant route of environmental degradation. Additionally, the substance's low vapor pressure makes measurement of photolysis in the gas phase impractical.
