Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Skin irritation / corrosion
Endpoint conclusion
- Endpoint conclusion:
- no adverse effect observed (not irritating)
Eye irritation
Endpoint conclusion
- Endpoint conclusion:
- no adverse effect observed (not irritating)
Additional information
Skin irritation
In a reliable key study no signs of irritation or corrosion were observed (all scores 0). Findings of two non-key studies are not inconsistnet with these data.
Eye irritation
In a reliable key study some rabbits showed only slight responses (mean scores cornea: 0.3, conjunctivae redness: 0.7, conjunctivae chemosis: 0.3) which were fully reversible within 72h. That implies that mean scores for all irritation parameters were below threshold values. Findings of a non-key study are not inconsistent with these data.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Skin irritation
Mean scores for all irritation parameters were below threshold values. Based on that classification is not warrantable.
Eye irritation
Mean scores for all irritation parameters were below threshold values. Based on that classification is not warrantable.
