Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure was obtained using QSAR estimation for the smallest representative of the UVCB substance (trimer, n=3) to be 3.3E-29 Pa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Beside the QSAR estimation , the vapour pressure for the substance was experimentally determined using the Knudsen effusion method (mass loss), according to the guidelines OECD 104 / EU A.4. Based on the results, the vapour pressure of the compound is calculated as being equal to 0.018 Pa at 20 °C, and 0.045 Pa at 25 °C. However, the test substance had to be prepared before the study in order to evaporate the solvent. It is however assumed that traces of solvent remained in the test substance which caused corruption of the result. For this reason the QSAR estimation undertaken for the smallest representative of the UVCB substance was considered to be reliable.
