Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the submission item. Due to the limited solubility of the submission item in water, tests were carried out using filtered solution prepared at a loading rate 100 mg/L. In these studies on fish, daphnia and algae, no adverse effects of the submission item have been observed in the range of water solubility. Therefore, the submission item is considered to be acutely not harmful to the aquatic environment. Based on the absence of acute toxicity as well as on the fate properties of the submission item, it is deemed not necessary to perform studies on long-term aquatic toxicity.
